The access card is actually your UBC Card, that when activated, can be used as a key to access UBC buildings.
Each unit on campus designates individuals responsible for the management of access to their building, including issuing keys and access cards. Please ask your manager/supervisor who will put you in touch with whoever is responsible for access in your unit.
The Access desk (in the UBC Bookstore) issues UBC cards and university keys.
Your UBC card can provide access to many, but not all UBC buildings. If you require access to another building, please work with your supervisor or contact us directly at ubc.card@ubc.ca and we can help facilitate the process.
